I have a comp day from work today from working the New Year's Day holiday. At 6 this morning, I was cozy in bed and wanted to stay that way. Westley had other plans. But how can you be anything but happy when you see a grin like this?!
I snapped the above photo with a Canon Rebel XS, a new camera Brian and I received for Christmas. My father-in-law also has a new Canon Rebel. They were the inspiration behind a new family photo blog, which we've named Shutterbug Rebels. After a much-needed nap, I've spent some time this morning setting up the blog and writing some of its first posts. It will often overlap with Life is Golden, and I expect that I'll link the two back and forth a lot. But this blog will continue to be about me and my life, inspirations and adventures. Shutterbug Rebels will primarily be a blog showcasing great photos. I've invited my husband and his immediate family to be contributors of that one, as well.
