After sleeping away 30 of the last 48 hours (with the help of some good antibiotics ... thanks, doc!), I'm back to the land of the living! Oh, how I hate being under the weather. What a waste of time.The pets all hunkered down with me, too. Brian said that Dakota especially came to check up on me often. Here's Meow in some freshly laundered sheets.
To celebrate my recovery, Brian and I invited my parents and his brother Eric over to watch the Jayhawk game tonight. Dakota was especially thrilled that KU defeated Yale.
Lilly helped Mom (a little too much, unfortunately) with a sewing project.
Dakota got a little too crazy. (Just joking. The bottle was empty. No Goldens were harmed in the making of this blog posting! He is older than 21 in dog years, by the way.)
Dad, the sports enthusiast, went catfishing.

Meow Meow is very pleased to hear that she has devoted fans citywide. I must disclose that Brian took that adorable photo (probably while I was zonked out on the couch on NyQuil ...).
