After a beautiful snowfall overnight, this is the view from my back door onto my deck. Ice Queen, table for four!Last night, Brian and I had a group of friends over to watch "The Nativity Story." Before their arrival, we spent our last vacation day of '07 having a baking marathon. Our creations included:
Lemon-Thyme Cookies
Nutty Chocolate Chip Biscotti

Man! Look at all that snow. I'm jealous. We haven't gotten that much yet. Kinda makes you want to curl up under one of your quilts, huh? ;-)
Absolutely! I've been wanting to watch the movie "Miss Potter" with Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor (two of my favorite actors), so this afternoon, I grabbed a quilt, cozied up and enjoyed. Very relaxing -- and the perfect use of a snowy Saturday!
