Sunday evening was the youth group Christmas party. We met at church and enjoyed a spaghetti dinner, a white elephant gift exchange and a couple of games. The party is the first of many holiday events Brian & I have lined up between now and Dec. 25th. Should be a fun few weeks!One lucky lady was the winner of our tacky Christmas sweater/sweatshirt contest. If you ever need an idea for a fun game to play at a holiday party, try this one. You should've seen some of the contenders ... whew!
My favorite game of the evening was one in which you have the name of a holiday character attached to your forehead, and you ask yes/no questions to find out who it is. Brian was Gabriel the angel. Meet the Mr. and Mrs. Claus of the evening:
After youth group, Brian & I swung by my parents' house to visit my uncle, who was in town from the Kansas City area for a quick visit. Jen & Kaden were there, too. I don't think Kaden enjoyed trying my antler headband on for size as much as the rest of us did:
