Here is the church, here is the steeple

I've always been captivated by church steeples, for their architecture as much as for their spiritual symbolism. Here are three in Wichita from different faiths that I photographed late one recent afternoon. The pretty sunlight, clouds and sky color made for some dramatic sights:
