Though book club typically embraces its unofficial "no boys allowed" rule, tonight's meeting was a rare exception. Tom Shine, co-worker to many of us, visited to answer questions about "Life with Mae". I was so engrossed with his stories about his grandmother and his family that I forgot to take photos until after most people had left. It was a fun night in Carrie's lovely home. We discussed and laughed and marveled at stories about Mae.
