After the KU game Saturday night, Mom happened upon the book "Mostly Bob" by Tom Corwin, a musician and music producer. I've had the book on my living room end table for several weeks but hadn't yet cracked it open.We read the book together, which only took 10 minutes or so. It's written very creatively: The little golden retriever image on each page makes the book a flip book, and you can see the puppy silhouette walking and wagging his tail. I don't want to give away too much because it's a wonderful read. But the story is actually an e-mail Tom sent to family and friends about his golden, Bob.
My favorite excerpt:
He melted my heart to the core and took many other prisoners along the way (you may have been one). The unconditional love one can have for an animal is so very close to the best concepts of "God."
