Today was Blessing of the Animals Sunday at Aldersgate, so we toted Dakota & Lilly along to church with us. They were well-behaved. For the most part.

Must be the season to bless the animals. Robin told me that the United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine is doing that next weekend. They ought to do that at Woofstock.
Interestingly enough, many churches bless animals this time of year in honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals and Ecology (Oct. 4). That's cool that they're observing it in Belle Plaine!
