More canoeing photos

We found our missing disposable underwater camera and retrieved these images, among others, of our weekend trip:

This cool bridge was by our starting point along the Illinois River.

A lot of other people started there, too. Most were doing "floats" on these giant rafts. It was pretty much like a massive Greek rush party. (Think river float meets Mardi Gras: Not exactly a family-friendly environment. Lots of adult beverages, loud music, skin, etc. Wow.) A lot of people brought their dogs along for their floats. Here are some pretty pooches I spotted:

This is another view of our campsite, far far away from the revelry and debauchery. It's a great locale. I can't wait to go back.
